Surfing at Unstad
The most famous surfing spot in Lofoten is the beach at Unstad. There is an active surfing environment here. In summer you usually experience gentle and beginner-friendly waves at Unstad, while autumn can offer perhaps the best waves in Northern Europe.
Surfing at Flakstad
The beach at Flakstad is a perfect surfing beach for beginners. The waves here are usually a little smaller than at Unstad. On both of these beaches you will find surf equipment hire and providers of surfing courses.
