Daily Northern Lights tours from Henningsvær Rorbuer

As the sun disappears behind Lofoten’s jagged mountain peaks, the night comes to life – and the real adventure begins.

Step into the Arctic night aboard our exclusive Mercedes V-Class with panoramic glass roof. With only up to 7 guests, you’ll enjoy ample space, comfort and an intimate experience – perfect for sitting back and taking in the Northern Lights.

We combine local experience with real-time Northern Lights forecasts to find the best conditions, far away from light pollution.

A glimpse of green. A silent veil. And suddenly the whole sky dances in waves of emerald, violet and deep red – a sight that takes your breath away.

Your guide isn’t just a driver – he’s an experienced photographer with years of work in Lofoten. Regardless of whether you’re shooting with a mobile or a professional camera, you’ll get tips and guidance on how to capture the moment. You’ll also hear fascinating stories about the Northern Lights – both scientific explanations and old Arctic myths.

This is more than a trip. It’s an experience of a lifetime.

What you need to know

Dress warmly and wear good shoes – The weather in the Arctic changes quickly and if you’re comfortable, you’ll get more out of your trip.

We decide based on the weather – the Northern Lights require clear skies, and your guide assesses conditions daily. If we have to cancel, we’ll let you know by 6pm via phone or email. If you don’t hear from us, the tour will go ahead as planned.

No need to ask about the weather forecast – Both the Northern Lights and the weather are unpredictable more than a few hours ahead. We monitor real-time data and make decisions based on local experience.

Check the phone and email you used when booking – that’s how we’ll contact you if plans change. Be flexible and trust us to keep an eye on the weather so you don’t have to.

Why choose RAW Lofoten?
