About Henningsvær Rorbuer
Henningsvær Rorbuer is an idyllic rorbu facility in the fishing village of Henningsvær in Lofoten. It has a rich history that stretches far back in time. With a fantastic location facing the sea, surrounded by beautiful archipelago and views of the Lofoten Wall, we offer our guests unique experiences, tranquil surroundings, magnificent nature and genuine Lofoten culture.
We are looking for: Are you looking for a job where you can help create a clean and pleasant atmosphere for our guests? Henningsvær Rorbuer is now looking for skilled and reliable cleaning workers for immediate employment until October. We are also looking for on-call temps who can work all year round, with tasks in reception, cleaning and catering.
Work tasks:
- Perform daily cleaning of our cabins, meeting rooms, café and common areas.
- Ensure that all rooms and facilities are of a high standard and ready for guests to use.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the hot tub and sauna at the quay.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to maintain optimal operations.
For on-call temps, the tasks also include:
- Operate the reception, provide information and assist guests with check-in and check-out.
- Serving in the restaurant when we have groups.
- Other tasks related to guest services and operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cleaning, reception or catering is an advantage, but not a requirement – we offer training.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for own tasks.
- Good collaboration skills and flexibility.
- Service-minded and attentive to detail.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
